Succession Planning/Talent Management

Teaching Schools have a key role in succession planning and talent management. Teaching Schools are well placed to identify the future needs of schools and prepare new entrants to the profession and existing experienced practitioners to progress along the educational continuum to become outstanding and inspirational leaders of the future.

Once talent has been identified Teaching Schools provide CPD/LD opportunities at all levels to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding of individuals to prepare them for future leadership roles.

The Durham Teaching School Alliance has established a partnership with L4NE to deliver training programmes for middle and senior leaders.
